Session - 24/11/2023 ; Location - Horsens
Note: Very clear weather, however the Moon was nearly full, so we only had a quick session with the binoculars
| Object | Observation type | Eyepiece/camera | Magnification | Filter | Note | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jupiter | Vortex Diamondback HD | 12X |
| M42 | Vortex Diamondback HD | 12X | I think this was the first time observing M42 at the evening in this season. It's nice it is slowly coming back into view. |
| Moon | Vortex Diamondback HD | 12X | Difficult to look for too long, as it is so bright. |
| M45 | Vortex Diamondback HD | 12X |
| Hyades | Vortex Diamondback HD | 12X | Always beautiful with Aldebaran to the side |
| M31 | Vortex Diamondback HD | 12X | Nearly had to break my neck, as it was close to zenith. Should have brought a blanket, as it was very clear. |
| Shooting star | Naked eye | Very clear towards NE at low altitude. It was burning for roughly 1 second, and rivaled the brightness of Jupiter. Unfortunately I was the only one to see it during this session |
